Hasta Eco

Our planet and we need your cooperation & support

Both the climate and our agriculture have been affected by a period of exploitation. Regenerative food production is a solution that can be implemented together. Your support is important.

Continuous Carbon Storage

Our farming system builds soil carbon through photosynthesis, biomass recycling, and stimulating the soil's biological processes.

Ecologically regenerative

Certified organic farming combined with regenerative principles that build fertility and strengthen ecosystems.

Co-cultivation & Microbiome

Through intercropping and a focus on the soil microbiome, a living ecosystem is created that yields healthier crops and increased fertility.

Climate Grant

Join us and support the climate

Real change is created together. As a consumer, you play an important role in From Zero to Hero and Hasta Eco’s work – both through your commitment and by spreading our message to your loved ones.

Climate benefit

What does "buying climate benefit" mean?

When you buy climate benefit from Hasta Eco, you finance regenerative farming, enable increased carbon sequestration, and strengthen a system that also produces food.

HastaEco

Transparency

Transparent pricing for real impact

Three kronor per kilo of COâ‚‚ covers the costs of regenerative transition, follow-up, and long-term carbon sequestration. The Swedish Transport Administration uses approximately seven kronor per kilo of COâ‚‚ in its socioeconomic calculations.

HastaEco

Science

Why 2.5 tons of COâ‚‚ per hectare and year

Our regenerative farming system is designed to build soil carbon through photosynthesis, return biomass and roots to the soil, and stimulate the soil microbiome.

FAQ

Circular food production

How does this differ from conventional farming?

In conventional farming, residual biomass is often considered waste. In our circular system, it is seen as a key resource for the next harvest. Residual biomass is returned to the soil, building fertility and reducing the need for external inputs.

What does Hasta Eco mean by circular food production?

Circular food production means that all nutrients, biomass, and energy circulate within the system without unnecessary losses. Nothing leaves the farm as waste – everything is reused to build fertility and produce the next batch of food.

What is seed coating?

Seed coating is a biological treatment of seeds with microorganisms before sowing. By inoculating the seeds with beneficial bacteria and fungi, we give the crop a flying start – better root development, stronger resistance, and more efficient nutrient uptake from day one.

What happens to biomass that isn't used for food?

It is returned to the soil through biological processes such as fermentation and composting. Biomass such as straw, roots, and cover crops is broken down in a controlled manner to feed the soil's microbiome and build stable soil carbon. Nothing goes to waste.

What is the role of fermentation in the system?

Fermentation stabilizes nutrients and strengthens microbial life in the soil. Through controlled fermentation of biomass, energy and nutrients that would otherwise be lost are preserved. This creates a biologically active fertilizer that enhances soil health.

Is circular food production efficient?

Yes – the system reduces the need for external inputs and builds fertility over time. By returning nutrients and biomass, an increasingly productive system is created. In the long term, this results in higher yields with lower costs and minimal environmental impact.

Why is it important to avoid gas leaks?

When biomass is improperly broken down, nutrients and energy are lost as CO₂, methane, and ammonia. These gas losses contribute to climate change and mean that valuable nutrients leave the system. Through controlled biological processes, we minimize these losses and keep nutrients in the循环.

Is this scalable?

Yes, the principles work on both small and large scales. Hasta Eco currently cultivates thousands of hectares using these methods. The system is based on natural biological processes that can be adapted to different conditions and scales.

Together we build the future

Here's how you can contribute

Real change is created together. From Zero to Hero and Hasta Eco are more than a company or a project – they represent a long-term effort to build knowledge, understanding, and practical solutions around something that affects us all: food, health, soil, and the future.

We live in a time when the food system, climate, and human health face major challenges. The knowledge exists – but it is often fragmented, difficult to access, or trapped in structures that no longer serve the best interests of society. Our ambition is to gather, explain, and demonstrate that realistic alternatives exist and work in practice.

Climate benefits & carbon sequestration

Support regenerative agriculture that sequesters carbon in the soil, strengthens soil health and biodiversity – locally, long-term, and without greenwashing. A tangible way to invest in real climate benefit.

Development & Knowledge

Contribute to the development of regenerative processes, biomass circulation, and measurement and transparency. Open, shareable solutions for the benefit of the entire community.

Dissemination & education

We offer lectures, seminars, and dialogue with organizations and decision-makers. For this to be possible, compensation for time, travel, and preparation is needed. Knowledge that leads to real change.

Why We Need Support

We have come a long way with our own resources, hard work, and great personal commitment. For many years, time, capital, and expertise have been invested to develop regenerative farming systems, build a knowledge base, and create a platform that can carry this forward.

But the change that is now needed cannot be carried by a few. To reach people, decision-makers, producers, and consumers on a broad scale, collaboration is required.

Support enables us to:

  • Build and disseminate knowledge in an accessible and credible way
  • Develop educational materials and open knowledge platforms
  • Engage in dialogue with politicians, authorities, and societal actors
  • Show viable alternatives to today's linear food systems
  • Create meeting places where people, producers, and organizations can collaborate

A Shared Responsibility

This is not about short-term impact or quick fixes. It's about taking responsibility for what we leave behind.

We want to build a system where:

  • Food nourishes, not burdens
  • Soil is built up, not depleted
  • Knowledge is shared, not locked away
  • The next generation has better opportunities than the last

Together, we can create a food system that benefits people, nature, and future generations.

If you feel this is important – then you are already part of the solution. We welcome dialogue, collaboration, and support in all forms.
